Pc Powerscan from Intrigue Learning Services Inc is an adequate registry repair utility. It has a user-friendly opening screen designed specifically for a novice to the Windows registry. It delivers a summary of detected errors in categorical format, but does not reveal the actual reason for the errors. This aspect, along with its expensive price, should lead you to another product for your registry repair needs.

Ease of Use:  

Pc Powerscan has a very simple two-click navigation design. You need only to click on the scan button, wait a few seconds, then press the fix button and the process is complete.

Feature Set:  

Pc Powerscan lacks the extensive feature set found in other registry repair utilities, but does offer many excellent features. It offers backup and restore capabilities, as well as a scheduler to organize and automatically complete your registry scans. It retains a log of each correction allowing you to restore the original settings and permits you to install Pc Powerscan as an auto-start program, which can be easily enabled or disabled from the program.

Ease of Installation:  

There were no problems during the download and installation of Pc Powerscan.

Help/Support:  

The help and documentation for this program was adequate. Due to the fact that Intrigue Learning is a virtual company, all correspondence is done through email. There is a convenient update button which delivers updates of the program and a FAQ section to answer basic questions.

Safety:  

Safety is the main area of concern with this product. When the registry scans for errors, you are given a summary of the errors in categorical form, but the program does not reveal the actual reason for the errors. You must assume that the program's error detection device is accurate. To make an informed decision about which errors to fix and which to delete, you need to see the actual errors.

Summary:
