ChemTable’s registry repair software, Reg Organizer, is a feature-filled application. This registry repair application provides a variety of registry-cleaning, application-cleaning and backup tools. However, it is much more difficult to use than most similar applications and lacks many safety features, which we are very disappointed to see. Reg Organizer is a solid product if you are familiar with registry repair software, but it can be very overwhelming and frustrating for beginners.

Reg Organizer offers the tools you need the most to keep your registry working at its best. When using this application, you can view, edit and easily clean your registry. There is a variety of registry-cleaning tools in this application that help you find errors that are decreasing your computer’s performance. These errors include invalid class keys, fonts and shared DLLs. You can also check application paths, delete empty registry keys and scan for spyware hidden in your registry.

There are also a few basic features and tools included in this registry repair software. You have access to all of the software that is launched when you turn on your computer, so you can disable any that are slowing down your computer's startup time. There are uninstall options, along with tools to clean junk, temporary and obsolete files.

Reg Organizer performs a thorough scan of your registry. It gives a general description of the errors and where they occur. You may do either a general or a specific scan on areas such as shared DLLs and shell extensions. This application lacks the ability to rate the severity of each error, making it difficult to make an informed choice regarding which errors to fix and which to delete. The backup system, however, allows you to undo a registry fix individually or all at once.

Unless you are familiar with registry repair software and how it works, Reg Organizer may appear very complicated and overwhelming. There is a navigation bar located on the left side of the screen that allows you to switch between functions. While this is a standard feature, many of the screens that you are presented with are difficult to use. They don't give you any clear path to follow while you're using the software.

There are a few support options if you do find yourself frustrated by this application. You can contact a customer support representative by telephone. There is no email or live chat support options available, though. Also, a small knowledgebase, user forum and FAQs section are available on the ChemTable website. These provide a little assistance, but you must search to find any answers.
